SysDefence

The newest rogue anti-spyware application is SysDefence. And no – this application will not be able to assist you any way, shape or form. This program is dubious and was designed to have harmful functionality.

SysDefence is believed by many experts to be a duplicate of a variety of rogue anti-spyware programs, namely: TheDefend, GuardPCS, Security Fighter, Save Armor, Save Defender, Trust Warrior, Soft Safeness, SiteAdware and IGuardPc.

SysDefence enters into a computer system via a Trojan application, which sneaks into the system via security exploits, such as spam emails or it can be installed by another malware.

SysDefence generates fictitious system warning alert messages, generates fake scan reports and fake error messages about the “infection” on the computer system. All of this is aimed at ensuring the user of the computer system is coerced and tricked into purchasing the “full” version of SysDefence software.

SysDefence should not be trusted or purchased as it is rogue anti-spyware software and should be deleted immediately upon detection!

A computer system infected with as SysDefence may tend to display the following warning signs:

• Corrupt files re-opens after been erased
• Modified browser start page, search page and error page
• Missing registry files
• Unknown programs show up in the process list
• Annoying Pop-Up Advertisement
• Changes in Internet Settings
• Unwanted Web Browser Components
• Decreased System Speeds

SysDefence may display the following behavior:

• Annoying bulk pop-ups generated even with active pop up blocker utilities
• Executes a Process
• Created as a process on disk
• Added as a Registry auto start to load Program on Boot up
• Unusual WinSoftware.Winfixer files in Windows task manager system processes, tower speaker error beeping sound
• Especially complicated to disable WinSoftware.Winfixer manually, reactivate its files at system start up
• Incapable to delete strange desktop icons, incapability to change desktop background
• Abnormal bandwidth use, slow Internet browser and Windows system
• Missing system files, registry keys and dlls files "Blue Screen Of Death" error
• Browser homepage hijacked by about: blank and redirected to corrupt web sites.

SysDefence installs itself into system and downloads mischievous Trojan and adware bundles via security exploits. Once that is done, SysDefence logs and deactivates any firewalls and antivirus programs and forwards confidential information like usernames, passwords to remote servers.

SysDefence will then continue with its mission and generate pop-up messages that match surfing activities and collects Windows system data.

To avoid unnecessary risk of further damaging your computer system, you should make use of a good legitimate and reliable spyware remover, which will come equip with all the necessary tools needed to rid your system of all nefarious activity allowed to enter into the system by SysDefence.
