IE-Security

IE-Security (IE Security, IESecurity) is the latest malware responsible for imposed system scans and pop-up alert messages (like Trojan-Spy.win32.BHO), which only succeeds in providing fake computer security information. Essentially, IE-Security forms part of the rogue anti-spyware family, which means: it pretends to be a useful tool for system protection but is in fact only harmful. IE-Security infiltrates a system via stealthy Trojan applications that will continue to exploit its new host system’s vulnerabilities. Once IE-Security has embedded itself within a system, the next step is the triggering of a fake system scan, which will tehn continue to ‘detect’ various infections. These threats are fake applications, or legitimate files that are wrongfully accused of being malicious. Should a user choose to remove any of the files and programs that are mentioned in the IE-Security scan results window is absolutely unnecessary, and should NOT be carried out! As it is highly likely that these files are critical for the proper functioning of your system. These deceptive techniques are solely aimed at coercing and enticing unsuspecting users into purchasing the IE-Security commercial software. One should not get misled into trusting IE-Security, as it is malware and should be treated as such.
