EKerberosEKerberos is yet another phony security program that attempts to mimic reputable spyware removal applications. EKerberos is not very different to many of the recent renegade anti-spyware programs, such that EKerberos modus operandi is to scan a user’s system, only to further display fictitious results. EKerberos also displays many erroneous popup messages, also to attempt to coerce the user into purchasing the full EKerberos application. EKerberos is highly capable of compromising a computer system, to such an extent that it may open up a computer, making it all the more vulnerable to attacks from other malware applications. EKerberos infiltrates a system without the knowledge or consent of the user, and does so via a Trojan infection. EKerberos is extremely difficult to remove manually, as associated files are left to recreate the infection the next time the computer is booted. It is essential and highly recommended that all PC users scan their system for EKerberos with a reputable spyware scan tool, and to remove EKerberos as soon as it has been detected. |
