Win 8 Protection 2014

Win 8 Antivirus 2014 is a fake antivirus program that will try to steal your money. This rogue antispyware application masquerades as a legitimate antivirus program because it needs to convince innocent users that their computers are in danger, and so they would spend their money without any second thoughts. However, the only thing you have to do is remove Win 8 Antivirus 2014 from your computer immediately. If you allow this rogue to remain on your system, you will not be able to launch any of your most frequently used programs.

The good thing about rogue applications (figuratively speaking) is that they are rather conspicuous, and they do not hide in the system background like Trojans. That is to say – you will notice that you are infected with Win 8 Antivirus 2014 immediately. When this fake AV enters your system, it immediately restarts your computer and then launches a fake PC scan. This scan “detects” IRC-Worm.DOS.Septic, IRC-Worm.DOS.La, Email-Worm.JS.Gigger and many other infections that supposedly are slowly killing your system. It is obvious that the scan results are not real, and Win 8 Antivirus 2014 forges them in order to make an impression that the PC is infected with malware.

Needless to say, the only dangerous infection currently present on your computer is none the other but Win 8 Antivirus 2014. This rogue antispyware comes from a big family of fake antivirus programs called Braviax. Rogues from this group are known for changing their names according to the operating system that is installed on the infected computer. It means that if you had Windows 7 or Windows XP installed on your computer, the rogue would have generated its name as Win 7 Antivirus 2014 or XP Antivirus 2014. Previous infections from the same family exhibited the same behavior back in 2012 and 2013.

When you get infected with Win 8 Antivirus 2014, the most important thing is not to panic. This rogue cannot steal your money directly, nor can it delete or cause any harm to your personal files. The main inconvenience with this infection is that it denies access to your main programs and applications. It means that you will not be able to access the Internet as well. Trying to load your web browser will cause a pop-up message to appear, saying that the program you are about to load is infected with a Trojan, and thus, Win 8 Antivirus 2014 must close it forcefully, in order to prevent infection from spreading to other applications.

Any message or claim from Win 8 Antivirus 2014 is an absolute lie. You need to go through “fake activation” process to restore access to your programs. Simply enter fake credentials into Win 8 Antivirus 2014 purchase page and submit it. The system will consider the rogue activated, and all of the messages will disappear for a time being. Before rogue infection symptoms return, make sure you delete Win 8 Antivirus 2014 from your system with a reliable antispyware tool.
