Win ScannerIt’s a fact that many consumers are still naive enough to trust the product behind an exaggerated marketing campaign as being safe with due diligence. It is exactly this type of misplaced trust which allows for rogue software such as the Win Scanner rogue system optimizer to flourish under. Win Scanner is the newest rogue system optimizer from the long line of rogue optimizers emanating from the same family as Disk Repair, Defragmenter and HDD Tools. This alone is reason enough why you’ll want to destroy Win Scanner if discovered to be lurking around on your PC, but if you’re not convinced yet, keep reading. Do not be fooled by its seemingly legitimate looking design and user interfaces, Win Scanner is not a legitimate application and will deliver on none of its over embellished promises. Win Scanner will put a lot of effort into trying to make its victim believe that its software is beneficial and that it is a legitimate application. Do not fall victim for this tomfoolery, and consider all the evidence to the contrary. Users might find it hard to get rid of Win Scanner initially. This is because the developers behind Win Scanner has worked hard to prevent its detection and removal, and will do everything in its power to succeed at its aim of extorting money out of its victims. It is for this reason, among many other valid ones that you should get rid of Win Scanner without another second’s delay. Once the Win Scanner infection roots itself on the system, users will remain unaware of its presence on the PC until the rogue deems it time to reveal itself to the PC owner. This will happen with the use of various fake security alerts, which Win Scanner employs in an effort to panic the user and also further gain his trust. Win Scanner will blame all the erratic system behavior on the reported bogus infections, and users are warned not to believe any of the following messages: “New threads were found “Critical Error! “Critical Error “Critical Error “Critical Error “System Restore “Windows – No Disk “Critical Error As a further attack on the system, and in an effort to prevent the user from running a security application which will remove Win Scanner from the system, Win Scanner will prevent the user from running any program on the system. It will display the following infuriating message every time the user attempts to launch a program: “Windows detected a hard drive problem. Once the Win Scanner infection is rooted in the PC, it is configured to run at start up. In order to manually remove Win Scanner, you need to unregister the following dll from the PC: nwcacm.dll Every aspect of Win Scanner is fake. The entire purpose behind Win Scanner is only to get as much money out of the consumer in the littlest of time before being detected as the parasite it is and removed from the system. Do not fall victim to this type of blatant extortion. When all is said and done users need to eradicate Win Scanner from the system. This is the only way they will be able to permanently get rid of Win Scanner and take control back of their systems. Invest in a properly functioning security tool which will not only successfully erase Win Scanner, but offer future protection against similar threats. |

i've been trying to get rid of this for the\past days and i'm unable to get on the internt on my laptop i'm on my dsi right now... i can only do so much... i'm stuck... i can't open task manager too... please help on tips....
Win Scanner usually tries to block the Task manager. You can run it JUST after you see your dekstop by clicking Ctrl+Alt+Del(you must be very quick).
If you still fail, try running Safe mode (tap F8 repeatedly) when you turn on the computer. After the safe mode has booter, try using the restore function.
