Antivirus 8

The war waged by legitimate online security companies for control of the online universe is only set to intensify. The reason why this industry even exists can be attributed to rogue security threats such as Antivirus 8. This revolutionized rogue takes the online assault to another level.

Encapsulating every trait normally associated with rogue antispyware, Antivirus 8 further turns up the ante. The reason why Antivirus 8 attracts so much attention is due to its propensity to surpass the usually vicious antics associated with common rogues. This is further exemplified in the reports by users infected with this nasty rogue.

Many symptoms of an Antivirus 8 infection include a constant redirection of search and internet browsers, as well as incessantly persistent popup messages. These popups are used to inform intended victims that their system is either under attack, or has already been compromised by internet viruses. It will further go on to inform consumers that the only way to stave off this attack, or delete these fake infections is to purchase a full license key of Antivirus 8.

At this point in Antivirus 8’s attack, many victims will succumb to the fake panic created by these criminals and naively hand over their credit card details. This is one of the worst things consumers can do, as they will open themselves up to other scams such as identity theft and credit card fraud.

The only remedy is to never trust any correspondence from these people, and to simply delete Antivirus 8 as soon as it’s discovered on the PC. Never pay for any of its products, and use antispyware tools to thoroughly remove Antivirus 8 once and for all.

Fighting to keep your PC healthy and protected might seem like a losing battle. The only recourse available to consumers to protect their PCs against threats such as rogue Antivirus 8 is to continuously invest in updated, well designed and properly functioning security tools.

I accidentally deleted av8.exe, when it already set repair files in my drivers. now I have severed the only way to delete the program, lucky I have a warranty on my computer. and I backed up all files on an external drive without av8. so, DON'T DELETE THE FILE IF YOUR GOING TO USE COMMAND PROMPT.
